The Competitive Program offers year-round and season specific player development opportunities for the most enthusiastic and committed soccer players, ages U9-U19 (U8's have the opportunity to play at the U9 level). The goal of the Competitive Program is to develop players to their highest level both on and off the field.

YEAR-ROUND AND SEASON SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT MODEL
LUFC is committed to providing exceptional development opportunities for its players. In order to achieve this, the club offers year-round training and playing opportunities for any player who is committed to improving. It doesn't matter if you are on a top team or are just starting out; players of all abilities will have access to high-quality development opportunities throughout the year to help them reach their full potential.
If you are not looking for or cannot commit to a year-round model you can choose to play competitive soccer for just the seasons we play (Fall or Spring/Summer).

COMPETITIVE PROGRAM FEES
All Competitive Fees are standardized across the club. LUFC has made every effort to create a soccer program of high value, focusing on a consistent level and frequency of practices, and club based periodization of soccer events.
Fees for the current season are listed on the Team Plans page. If you are coming in during an existing season and those details are have been updated to a new/future season please reach out to us!
WHAT DO FEES INCLUDE?
Fees include all:
- Registration and Administration costs
- Club Staff
- League Fees (TCSL or MYSA)
- Coaching Fees
- Referee Fees
- Team Snap
- Indoor Training Facility Fees
- Outdoor Field Fees (training & games)
- Insurance
- Player and Coach Passes
- Background Checks
- Team Equipment Fees
- Team specific plans will indicate exactly what is included. Team plans can be found on our Team Plans page.
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED?
Fees do not include:
- Uniforms - uniforms will be ordered by families and shipped direct to you. Uniform info can be found on our Uniforms page.
- Team Fees - Such as any tournaments or leagues outside of the outlined team plans
- Coach travel costs if going to an out of state or overnight tournament
- Any additional training or facility costs incurred for additional training or team events outside of team specific plans
- Team Parties
- Coach gifts etc.
NIKE UNIFORM ORDERING INFORMATION
The 2024/2025 season is year 1 in our 2-year uniform cycle. ALL players must purchase a uniform kit this year! Check here for uniform information: Uniforms Page
FEE SCHEDULE, REFUNDS, AND OTHER FEES (2024/2025)
For those paying in full at the time of registration for both the Fall 2024 & Spring/Summer 2025 season or just the Spring/Summer 2025 the following payment schedule doesn't apply. For those choosing the payment plan during registration for both the Fall 2024 & Spring/Summer 2025 season it is as follows:
- $200 at the time of registration as a non-refundable commitment fee.
- Equal payments (8) begin of remaining balance on September 1st
- Payment on October 1st
- Payment on November 1st
- Payment on December 1st
- Payment on February 1st
- Payment on March 1st
- Payment on April 1st
- Final payment (9 of 9) on May 1st
A $100 late fee will be applied to any outstanding balances after May 1st & player pass potentially withheld for non-payment.
Refunds are granted under the following conditions and in the following amounts:
1. For summer, $200 is considered non-refundable to cover administrative costs and expenses. Any player signing up but withdrawing will be assessed this charge.
2. The refund deadline for any funds over the non-refundable amount is September 1st of the year of registration.
3. For fall league, registration fees are non-refundable except as noted below.
Refunds after February 1 will be considered under a Medical Exemption due to a long term physical injury, or other exceptional circumstances. Refund requests for these reasons are made in writing and must be received by May 1 of the TCSL season participant is registered for.
The Board of Directors must give a decision with reasons within 30 days of receipt of the request.
If a team or team plan calls for a volunteer coach and one is not found for a team, team members may be required to pay an additional fee to hire a paid coach as directed and placed by Lakes United FC. Teams are notified if a paid coach is needed. There is no notification deadline.
The initial registration non-refundable fee shall cover the cost of basic items required to operate the club, including but not exclusive to the following:
- TCSL supplemental medical insurance
- TCSL registration fees (Club, Team, and Player)
- TCSL postseason play
- Lakes United FC Staff costs
Any registration insurance purchased during registration is through an independent 3rd party provider not associated with Lakes United FC. Lakes United FC is unable to help you with any registration insurance you purchase.
Any fines incurred by a team, for any reason, shall be reimbursed back to Lakes United FC by the team. If a team has any outstanding fines or fees, that team's postseason fee reimbursement may be withheld, or the Club may choose to bill each member of the team individually their portion of the team's outstanding fines or fees.
Player passes will not be missed to any player who has not paid the appropriate fees such as registration payments, team fees or any team related costs, payments in arrears from previous years and/or has not supplied the club with a copy of their birth certificate and player card photo.
By signing the registration form, players and parents agree to abide by the terms as outlined above.
